Black HDPE Compound B.PE.2850

Application

Used in geomembrane sheets

Features

The black high-density polyethylene compound NABYLENE B.PE.2850, designed based on the GM13 standard of the American Geosynthetic Research Institute (GRI), contains 2.5 percent micronized carbon black along with necessary thermal stabilizers and antioxidants, which increases its resistance to sunlight and oxidation. This compound has excellent resistance to weathering conditions and stress cracking (ESCR).

Recommended Processing Conditions

The extruder cylinder temperature should increase linearly from 160°C to 200°C, and then the adapter and die temperature should be set to 210-220°C.
